About Papa

My name is Marino, and I want to help you be a better dad!

I live in north Georgia with my wife, four kids, and two dogs – all of whom call me Papa. I’ve been married to my wife for 20 years, and my kids range from 11 months (as of May 2022) to 18 years old (yes, that’s quite a spread – there’ll be a post on that one day).

While raising our oldest son, there were many life lessons I had to teach him that I realized my father never taught me. After speaking with several other dads I discovered that we all had the same issue – there are so many life lessons our fathers didn’t pass on to us.

I have mentored several friends with parenting tips I have learned, and have had the chance to speak into the lives of young men through Boy Scouts, Trail Life, and other family-focused organizations.
